Thanks for enjoying the new Sword & Board series as well as the new aromatics. We haven’t been this busy since the early days of the pandemic when people needed a lot of tobacco to get through lockdowns.
Chicago, Howdy Hey. Baby don’t you wanna go? We sure do. But Ken already has to be in Chicago the week _after_ the show for other business. Shows have been tough the past eight months because Ken has a tricky soft tissue injury in his ankle. Two steps forward, three steps back.
We never really expanded into the Latakia blend market beyond a few blends because we thought that the market was generally well served by existing blends. We may have a few more coming. One would be a full bodied English with light dollop of perique in the tradition of the original Squadron Leader and Dunhill Night Cap. The other is a reinvention of Hand of Götz that uses Rustica tobacco. We’re reloading the mechanical arm.
Some of our existing blends may migrate to the Sword & Board label for brand consistency. There may also be some tagged crossover blends between series. We’re adding more tags to blends to help people find things.
We have more brands of tinned flakes arriving next week to list. We’ve decided to carry some very common brands of flake because some of our customers like to spend their reward points on tins. We’ll try to keep more varieties in stock.
