Adventures to Come

The Sword & Board series has kicked off. The adventures are just beginning.

Dwarven Mine is an aromatic Latakia mixture that won’t leave you with a greasy creosote mouth feel. Despite the elegance of the blend, it is born of different fiery processes. Smoked Orientals (Latakia), steamed Virginia, toasted Burley, and blackened Burley.

The next new blend in the series is based on mid-century licorice Latakia blends. It is also based on past KBV blends like “Night Mare”. It is going to be one-third Latakia (triple fermented) and have a classic licorice profile. There will be non-Latakia blends as well, but these first two blends are for an underserved segment of pipe enjoyers.

A few of our existing blends that aren’t already in a series may become campaigns in the new series. We’re also thinking of bringing back Tavern Bar under the series.

The dragon bosses of this series are going to be really cool
