March has had nice weather. People are really enjoying the richer diversity of tins we sell. Some of the Savinelli tins are “new old stock”. Seegar (the one with Latakia) seems to be the fave of the Kopp aromatics. HU Tobaccos have been a pleasure to retail.
The last release of Brown Flek is currently online and we don’t imagine it will survive to May. Moriarty has officially taken an indefinite break from his life of crime. Like the birds change around this time of year, so do the blends. This year there will be less returners.
Fuzzy’s Pud Deluxe will release tomorrow at 2pm. It’s a small trial run for a new Virginia/Perique mixture based on an ancient KBV recipe called “Paulina Pudding”. We have a few other small previews coming including Cajun Slaw (a Virginia/Perique based on Pork Chops) and Dungeon-Meister (aromatic latakia).
Here are some answers to frequently asked questions about Fuzzy’s:
1. Fuzzy’s releases are small and there are zero private sales or reserved portions. Fate is capricious, which is fine. Shrug your shoulders and recite “rota fortunae” if you don’t get any. Add a “memento mori” if still salty.
That’s pretty much it, that addresses most of the questions I get.
Cheers,
Ken
