We are working extra to restock and ship as many orders as we can.
Someone asked me “Is Van Gogh safe?”. A few months ago everything was safe. So my answer is: “nothing is safe”. However, I don’t see any issues producing it for the next quarter. Van Gogh, Brown Flek, Acadian Flek, Uzumaki, Claymore, and Peaty Hunt all have long lead times but the only ones I am 100% confirmed will not produced going further are Uzumaki and Brown Flek (which I still have more of to process). That’s my best take on the broken flakes and ready rubs currently. I’ve only seen cuts for Sutliff/MacBaren but not for STG’s skus (including private). I still haven’t seen the all the downstream effects of the Planta plant closing on other producers who used it either. I try not to dwell on it too much since it is mostly out of my control. I just try to keep making my stuff as long as l can make it at the quality I’ve established.
The next new release is a burley, burley cavendish, cigar blend with a room note that smells like old pipes with an undercurrent of fine cigar. The cigar is fine cut and not the typical cigar blend leaf. The working codename is Empire State.
Restocks for Mycroft, Redline, and Nightmare later today/tonight.
Cheers,
Ken
