We’ve been playing with this latakia mixture that has condimental perique under the codename ‘Elder Dragon’ but the final production name will be Sleepy Dragon. For a few years, I’ve been wanting to release something like older Nightcap not as a match but as an archetype. We hope it will be out later this week. There was a “Sleeping Dragon” preview blend for an unrelated Red Virginia/Cavendish semi-aromatic.
We also have a one-shot Virginia/Perique mixture being released Wednesday. It will have it’s own write-up tomorrow. It was intended for the Chicago Pipe Show (which you should really visit if you can).
Jupiter Slices is moving to the Sword & Board marquee shortly with an art update. Samsun & Delilah is making the same journey but with an upgrade (in Ken’s opinion) to the mixture.
We have been meaning to sell our runt sized Jupiter Slices/Byronic Hiro as mixed twin packs prepared with a spiced rum navy style. We plan to sell them Thursday. There will be a very limited quantity of these Misfits.
We’ve been seeing a lot of new customers interested in the expanded latakia portfolio of blends. Thank you new customers.
Study in Scarlet will be restocked tonight/tomorrow. The least elegant grades of Red Virginia have been removed in newest batch. Originally, this blend was an extra mature version of the red grades used in the Western series. That series is going with less theme (wild) in the newer batches.
